My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am a very high energy Dane puppy! Grandma says that I play too rough to be in a home with small children. I am a very loving dog and love to show my love and yes sometimes a bit too over zealous about showing my love as well! I would love a family that will play with me and take me to obedience class and help me learn to be the perfect Dane!

I was found roaming the busy streets of Columbus, OH playing dodgem with the cars and trucks! Then a nice person picked me up and took me to the Franklin County Animal Shelter. They told me that my owners would come for me well guess what they didn't!! When my stray time was up the wonderful people at the shelter called Harlequin Haven to come for me!! I am now at the rescue and they are calling me Felix it means "happy, lucky and fortunate". It really fits! I am very happy, lucky not to have been hit by a car or truck and fortunate that even though my owners did not come for me the rescue did!! What a great name!!
