Junie B's Story...
Junie is a beautiful little yorkie who was pulled from a shelter in SE KY. Junie was found as a stray and was in horrible condition. Her fur was so matted that she had to be shaved down completely (the last pic is her before). Junie is approximately 2 years old and weighs about 8lbs. Once her hair grows back in, she will be lovely! She is a true lapdog who always wants to be right beside her person. She gets along fine with other cats and dogs as long as they give her her space. Junie is looking for a great new forever home! Could you be her new momma???

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Junie B, a Hazard Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Hazard, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Hazard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazard paves the way for another one to be saved.
