Dam's Story...
Howdy, we are the lake Dawgs! Mama lives on a lake called Tim's Ford and some dummy dumped us off at the boat ramp by the dam when we was just tiny little babies so she named us kids after the lake. She's silly but she takes real good care of us. We were born on Feb. 26, 2013 and we are going to be BIG dawgs! They call us the gentle giants of the dogie world. We would be so proud to be your pups so won't you please adopt one of us!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dam, a Portland Great Pyrenees puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Portland, or seeking a Great Pyrenees puppy from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
