Drew - Foster Home Needed's Info...

Drew - Foster Home Needed's Story...
This is Drew. He's a 5 year old, purebred Border Collie. He walks very well on a leash and knows basic commands. He loves everyone and seems to do well with other dogs. He was getting depressed at a local kill shelter and wouldn't eat so was up to be euthanized. He's completely vetted and now would love to get out of the vet's office and into a nice foster home!
Please contact HART at www.rescueahart.org if you'd like more information about Drew.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Drew - Foster Home Needed, a Cincinnati Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
