PAWS 4 HUMANITY INC UPDATE ON AMBER AND HER SEARCH FOR A FOREVER HOME: Paws 4 Humanity Inc has been blown away by the tremendous response over Amber and her story. We have been inundated with phone calls, emails and application requests since we put her up on the internet the first of the month. We have received interest in giving Amber a home as far west as Wisconsin and as far north as Pennsylvania and Connecticut. Even though we appreciate the outpouring of interest in Amber we will no longer be able to respond to phone calls or take in any more applications or answer email requests on Amber as we have over 85 adoption applications to review. Amber sends her love and kisses and says thanks to everyone who has shown an interest in her. We would like to suggest that if you are looking for a dog for your family to take a look at your local shelters and rescues or on petfinder.com or adoptapet.com for you next loyal companion as there are so many deserving dogs out there just like Amber waiting for a forever home. Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescue dog.
Hi my name is Amber. I am a 5 month old Cockapoo (yes that means Cocker Spaniel Poodle mix) who is looking for my forever home. I am still just a pup and am an energetic little girl like most pups are but I am also very smart. I already know some of my commands come when called, sit and stay. I even know a trick called high five!
I was purchased from a puppy store and then given to my original family as a gift when I was just 3 months old. My human mom was in a car accident (no fault of her own as she was hit by a 93 year old woman while driving down Argyle Forrest who did not even remember hitting her). My human mom could no longer care for me the way that I deserved. In addition I have a lot of energy and my mom quickly found out puppies need quite a bit of attention. She was going to doctors, therapy, pain management and all kinds of appointments and she felt it wasn't fair to leave me at home when I should be getting attention, training and just plain quality time with my family. She made the sad and unselfish decision that she needed to find a rescue for me. I do have the energy of a puppy and I don't think my original family was really prepared for that.
Paws 4 Humanity Inc came to my rescue and I am now being fostered by one of the best moms in Orange Park. You see my foster mom started Paws 4 Humanity Inc and has the tools to make me a great dog, pet and family member. She has dog training, and tons of dog knowledge behind her and it is paying off because I am becoming quite the smart puppy. I love to play play play and then play some more. I am great with other dogs, especially small dogs and ones my size. I am a very smart girl and know I could become a great CGC dog (Canine Good Citizen) dog some day if I was given the chance. I am a social butterfly and am great with other dogs, children, adults and anyone who I get the chance to meet. I am house trained, crate trained and got a great start to my obedience training.
I have a beautiful curly hypoallergenic coat, great personality and cute pie good looks - what more do you want. What are you waiting for. If you are interested in meeting yours truly please contact Paws 4 Humanity Inc at 904 771-9516 or shoot them an email request for an adoption application to firstname.lastname@example.org which is the first step in their adoption process. Once your adoption application is approved you will then be able to me yours truly. I look forward to meeting you and showing you just how smart, sweet and lovble that I really am. My cutie pie good looks will undoubtedly seal the deal where you can not help but want to take me home forever! Love and kisses. - Amber.
