Brina's Story...
Brina came into our rescue with her littler of pups. We do not know what she is mixed with. Brina came to us very scared and has now learned to trust my family. She will need an understanding owner. Brina''s babies will be ready to leave in a couple of weeks and then so will she. We will get her spayed and UTD before the adoption. Unsure how she is with kids, cats and dogs yet. Right now she is protective of her babies and will not go near other dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brina, a La Crosse Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in La Crosse, or seeking a Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in La Crosse.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Crosse already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Crosse breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Crosse paves the way for another one to be saved.
