Akita Dog for adoption in Broadway, New Jersey - Kota

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Kota's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Kota's Story...
Kota is a 4 year old male akita that was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. He is a well mannered dog and knows basic commands. He is crate trained and goes outside when you take him but we cannot guarantee that he would know to tell you he has to go outside. He is a typical akita and is VERY independent. We are looking for an akita savvy home for him and potential adopters will need to provide proof of prior ownerships and a vet reference. We want Kota in the best home possible and it is our mission to be sure he is comfortable in his new home as well. Call 908-859-3060 and speak to Brandee regarding this dog

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kota, a Broadway Akita dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Akita for sale in Broadway, or seeking a Akita dog from a breeder in Broadway.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Broadway already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Broadway breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Akita breeders who help with Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Broadway paves the way for another one to be saved.
