My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brisco is a handsome 2 year old chocolate lab. He is a good size boy weighing about 75 lbs. Just look at that ‘eager to please’ look on his face. He is a great boy who loves his humans and just wants to be with them. Brisco is great with all his canine siblings and can hold his own with any of them. Brisco did not get much attention in his early years and was not taught manners as he should have been, but he is a smart boy and so eager to please that with a little patience and consistency he would do great at learning. He loves the praise and the good boy treats and he loves his human’s hugs. Brisco would probably be okay with cats as there are resident kitties running around and he is not bothered by them. He does well on a leash and loves to go for long walks. He would be considered a medium energy boy. Brisco would love nothing more than to have a home of his own and be a part of a family. He has been well socialized with men, women and older children. Brisco should have a 6 ft fence or an invisible fence - if he tries hard enough he could get over a 4 ft fence. Brisco is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies, and micro-chipped. He is also on flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative and he is crate trained. He is a truly awesome boy and if you think he might fit into your life style, please indicate Brisco in the notes section of the online application.
