My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lacey was originally found hanging out in an empty field near a busy road by our volunteers. She had a rope hanging from her neck and had just had puppies. Her puppies were nowhere to be found and Lacey was so glad to be around people, she wouldn't leave our volunteers side. We think she was dumped in the area. Lacey was placed in a foster home where she learned how to be a good inside dog and was adopted about a year ago. We recently received a call from the Humane Society saying that one of our dogs had been turned into the shelter. They scanned her for a micro chip and it came back to us thankfully. We immediately got her out and she is now up for adoption once again. Honey has had a very rough start to her life so far and we want to make sure she finds a home that will commit to her for the long run. She is beautiful and is a great dog! She has a lot of energy and loves going for walks and playing fetch. She was turned into Humane because she didn't get along with the owners small dog. Lacey does well with other medium or large sized dogs but should not go to a home with small dogs. Since she has a lot of energy she should also be in a home with children over five.
