for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

LV's Info...

I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

LV's Story...
LV is a gray and white male Shih Tzu who is approximately 3 years old. LV was brought in by his owner to be euthanized because he had too many fleas! With some pampering and care, LV is now feeling much better and is a sweet and mellow dog. LV knows how to walk on a leash. He would need to be in a home without small children. Let’s show LV the love he deserves and find him a home where he will be part of a forever family!

Upon adoption, LV will be neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and his adoption fee is $50.00. You can submit an adoption application at http://ccpaac.org/adoption-application. Please TEXT 361-438-3232 for more information. You can visit LV at Corpus Christi Animal Control at 2626 Holly Road. Adoption Hours are M-F 1-5:30 pm and Saturday 1-4:30 pm. Make sure you ask for a PAAC volunteer when you go visit!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LV, a Corpus Christi Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Corpus Christi, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Corpus Christi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corpus Christi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corpus Christi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corpus Christi paves the way for another one to be saved.
