Charlie's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Charlie's Story...
I'm Charlie, a purebred border collie who needs a new gig. My family decided that I wasn't needed anymore so I'm hoping for a forever home really soon. I am about 2-3 years old and weigh about 35 pounds. I have a beautiful silky coat and am friendly with kids and dogs. I'm very laid back with other dogs and am not the least bit aggressive or dominant. I like to chase cats and my intentions are not honorable. I'm well behaved indoors and will go to the door when I need to go out. I do well on a potty schedule and do better in a fenced yard instead of on a leash for potty needs. I've been neutered and am up to date on my shots. Foster mom says I am a pretty mellow dog for a border collie and am sensitive like most of my breed. I was an outside dog until recently and would be happy as a working dog or a family dog. I'm hoping for my furever home really soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie, a Osseo Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
