My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Ophelia. I am 5yrs old, female and a gorgeous Turkish Van mix. A very nice girl who did everything she could to keep me healthy and cared for relinquished me to The Pet Rescue Center in May. I was originally found on the streets all banged up and my owners never came to find me. A poor diet had helped contribute to bladder stones, which needed to be removed. Thankfully my previous owners fixed me up and got me into shape. That was years ago and now I am healthy as a horse and in need of a family to love! I am a quiet lady that would love a calm house to stay in. I am indoor only and don’t want to be outside again. I don’t mind other cats. My previous home had 6! Please come see me and give me a chance at a new life!

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to 949-768-5759 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
