My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! Have you ever found a four-leaf clover? People say they are very lucky! I am here to tell you that I am a four-legged Clover, and I am super lucky!! The good people of Midwest BREW picked me up from shelter in Southern Illinois. I was found by the side of the road, and that was the day my luck changed! I’m now in a foster home, getting healthier and happier by the minute!
Foster mom says I am the easiest foster she has had. I am pretty quiet, and even if there is a squirrel in the yard, I only bark a couple times. I do have a quiet little snore though! I am 95% house trained. I only had a few accidents the first few days, but have been really good ever since, as long as I get my potty breaks! I go into my crate at night with no fuss, and would never make a mess in there where I sleep. Foster mom says I have earned run of the house in the daytime, so I can nap in the dog bed, or watch out the window, or run around after my foster sister.
I am a small, shy little girl- only 19.8 pounds. I am a little scared of loud noises, but I’ve never met a person I didn’t like, and run right up to them with my tail wagging fast and furious. The cat at a friend’s house didn’t bother me at all, so I didn’t bother him, and I am super sweet with kids too! Don’t get me wrong, I’ll stand up for myself if I have to. If another dog tries to boss me around I’ll stand my ground and tell them “No- I don’t think so!” I walk nicely on a leash too! Well, at least most of the time!
Mom says I am really fun to watch! I have a funny diagonal run, and I lay down flat when I have to sneeze! When I’m sleeping, my tail thumps and thumps all by itself! Best of all though, I love to be petted, scratched, belly rubbed and ear massaged! I will sit and take that for hours on end! So if you are looking for a whole lot of love and luck in your life, pick me- the four-legged lucky Clover!
