Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Nakita is a beautiful 18 month old Siberian Husky weighing 43 lbs. who suddenly appeared in a neighborhood in TN. The neighbors each thought she was the other neighbor’s new dog because she was so friendly and happy. But upon speaking, they soon realized she was a stray and neither one was able to keep her forever. However her personality is adorable and she is being a wonderful house guest until we find her a forever home of her own. She has a striking coat and beautiful eyes, one blue and one blue/brown bi-colored. Nakita is eager to learn and has already mastered sit, shake with both paws, lay down and bark. She knows what "NO" means and hates when you yell at her. Just wants to do whatever you want to make you happy. Sweet dog! She plays with the 3 year old grandkids as well as all the kids in the neighborhood, and is very gentle with them. If she hears kids laughing and playing, she runs straight to them. In fact, she would love a home with children since she is so fond of them. She is also friendly with all the neighborhood dogs. It is very hot in TN, and Nakita loves to cool off in the creek. A cooler New England home would be just what she needs. It is not known what Nakita’s story is, whether she was abandoned, given up, but somehow she wound up on her own and someone is missing out on a great dog. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
