My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Kolbie and I am a buff cocker boy, about 6 to 7 years old. I was brought in to Cabarrus Animal Hospital in Kannapolis, NC by my owner's family because I wasn't feeling well and they turned me over to the staff to have me put down. My lady owner could no longer care for me and had recently been moved into a nursing home facility, due to dementia. The family didn't care about me, didn't want me and they had no intention of keeping me or trying to find me a home, so they just left me to die, and went out the door. The vet staff took me in the back, cared for me until they could talk to CCR, and now I am safe in rescue until I can find a new forever home again.

I am now feeling better and I have been updated on my shots. I am a lucky boy as I am heartworm negative and I just got a dental done. I would love to find a new home and someone to love me again. I am dog social, somewhat house trained and kind of a quiet guy. Please give me my 2nd chance to have the loving home that I deserve.
