Jeremy-ADOPTED!'s Story...
Estimated date of birth: 6/12.

Jeremy is a very lucky boy. He could even be luckier if he gets picked by a loving person or family to give him a safe and loving permanent home. He ended up at a very high kill shelter for cats. Most go in and do not come out alive. He was caught in a trap and brought in. Most likely he was someone's house cat because he looks very well taken care of and fed. Jeremy is a lover. If you want a cuddle buddy, Jeremy is the young man for you. I have only had him for two weeks and he is already adjusted to his new temporary home. He hid underneath couches and behind toilets in bathrooms the first few days, but after that, he became the curious loving cat I knew he probably was. He seems to get along well with other cats. He is getting used to the dogs in the house.
Please contact Sheri at: eoerescue@yahoo.com or 925-980-3035 for more information. Jeremy is currently at Petco in Tracy in the cat habitat at the front of the store. You can meet Jeremy during Petco store hours. Adopters must be pre-approved before adoption can take place.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jeremy-ADOPTED!, a Tracy Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tracy, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tracy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tracy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tracy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tracy paves the way for another one to be saved.
