Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Well, hello everyone!!! My name is Roscoe Dude and I am a very sweet 63 lb 6 year old boy. My owner turned me in to SCLRR because of a change in their living situation. They told SCLRR that I am a purebred and they bought me from a pet store when I was just a puppy. I had AKC papers but my previous owner misplaced them during a move. My birth date is December 7, 2006, see I am really smart – I even know my own birthday (it’s that time when you have to give me extra cookies). As you can see I do have a little gray, but don’t let that fool you – I have the energy of a youngster. My foster mom says she loves my gray it makes me look distinguished! I like being with SCLRR because my foster mom takes me out for long walks on the beach, and I love playing with my foster brother (a Lab) and my foster sister (she is a Chihuahua). I am now looking for my forever home and that special someone that will love me forever. I am always eager to please and I LOVE being with my people. I never really had much training and I need some socialization but my foster mom says I am a fast learner. I know basic commands sit, down, and I go to my place. I love belly rubs too!!! I am great on leash and even off leash – I always come when you call me. When my foster family leaves I get a bit anxious and whine but I have learned how to cope with being in my crate. I sleep through the night without a peep next to my foster mom’s bed. I would prefer to be an only dog so I can have all the attention for myself. I would prefer to have a family that is home most of the time because I love to be with my people, someone retired or that works from home would be perfect!!!
I’m looking for an experienced dog person/family that will create a routine for me and will continue my training so that I can be the best dog ever!!! I am very excited to explore this world!!!
I have lots of love and kisses to give! Please call your family rep and come and meet me!
