PIERRE aka Pedro's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, and good with dogs.

PIERRE aka Pedro's Story...
Only 2 years old, this purebred German Shepherd ran out of time at the shelter. Our volunteer could not bear the thought of what is going to happen to him the very next day, and pulled him. So now our mainly Boxer rescue has a beautiful purebred GS.

Pierre (as we call him now) used to have a female mate. Without another dog, he seems to have separation anxiety.

Please fill out an adoption application. After review, one of our volunteers will contact you to answer your questions and to set up a home check and a meeting with the dogs. Inquiries WITHOUT the application will NOT be answered. Here is the link:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PIERRE aka Pedro, a Alameda German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Alameda, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Alameda.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Alameda already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Alameda breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Alameda paves the way for another one to be saved.
