Paisley's Story...
Apply to Adopt:

Paisley is one of 6 siblings born into the rescue. Their mom is Dorothy. Their father is unknown. They are a long hair dachshund mix. Paisley is a sweet and cuddly little girl.
Adoption fee is $200 For puppies under 5 months of age- who are not yet old enough to be altered and receive all their vaccines, including rabies, we have a foster to adopt program. $100 will be due when you first get the puppy, and $100 will be due when the adoption is finalized. What that is: Foster-to-Adopt A Puppy: Allows the puppy to be placed with their new family as a puppy but their adoption would not be formally completed and finalized until age 5 months, after their vaccinations are complete and they are altered. This way we can be sure that the early medical care, so important to their lifelong good health, isn't overlooked in the understandable excitement of adding a new puppy to the home

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paisley, a Irving Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Irving, or seeking a Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Irving.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irving already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irving breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irving paves the way for another one to be saved.
