Laney's Story...
LANEY is a black female schnauzer/poodle mix who is approximately 10 months old. Laney is here with her brother, Luke and the two of them are a very bonded pair. Laney tends to be a little more on the shy side than her brother but she loves plush toys and is quick to come out of her shell when you sit and play with her. Laney is potty trained and is a very sweet and smart girl. One look at Laney and you will be in love!

Upon adoption, Laney will be spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. She is heartworm negative and her adoption fee is $66.00. You can submit an adoption application at http://ccpaac.org/adoption-application. Please TEXT 361-438-3232 for more information. You can visit Laney at Corpus Christi Animal Control at 2626 Holly Road. Adoption Hours are M-F 1-5:30 pm and Saturday 1-4:30 pm. Make sure you ask for a PAAC volunteer when you go visit!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Laney, a Corpus Christi Schnauzer (Standard)/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Corpus Christi, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Corpus Christi.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corpus Christi already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corpus Christi breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corpus Christi paves the way for another one to be saved.
