Cowgirl's Story...
My name is Cowgirl cause on live with my foster mom on the farm and those are my cute little babies that you see on the MHCR facebook and website. I had 5 babies with me when I ended up at the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services. I was very relieved when a Foster Family came and picked us up from the shelter and took us to a nice home where we could be in peace. You have heard quite a bit about my babies, but you haven’t heard much about me. I am a great dog. I am trying to get my teenage figure back, having puppies played some havoc on my young body, but in just a few months with some good meals, I will be looking good as new. I am a small girl. They think I am a Boston Terrier mix. I have a cute little face and really pretty eyes. My babies are still being weaned and I soon I will be ready for a new home. I am sweet and was a little shy when I first arrived but I warmed up quickly and everyone loved me! I will be spayed (once my milkies dry up), vaccinated and micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cowgirl, a San Antonio Boston Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boston Terrier for sale in San Antonio, or seeking a Boston Terrier dog from a breeder in San Antonio.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Antonio already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Antonio breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boston Terrier breeders who help with Boston Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Antonio paves the way for another one to be saved.
