for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Bruce's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Bruce's Story...
Bruce is a purebred Bernese Mt Dog. He is very affectionate and loving with people he knows, tho is a timid/shy with strangers, especially children. We are seeking an experienced, quiet, ADULT ONLY only home for him. We want him to be in a home where they will be patient and gentle, to help him overcome his fears. ~~ Bruce loves to be with "his people" and follows us all around. He is fine with other dogs, as well as cats, horses, chickens, etc. He had been living in a barn with other animals before we took him in, tho he had done well when living inside and even stayed overnite in hotels. Well mannered in the house, not hyper. Approximately 4 yrs old. ~ To learn more about this breed, please first go to www.BMDINFO.org ~ NOTE: We always require securely fenced yard for all dog adoptions, and certainly no shock collar "invisible systems."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruce, a Mount Gilead Bernese Mountain Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bernese Mountain Dog for sale in Mount Gilead, or seeking a Bernese Mountain Dog dog from a breeder in Mount Gilead.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mount Gilead already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mount Gilead breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bernese Mountain Dog breeders who help with Bernese Mountain Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mount Gilead paves the way for another one to be saved.
