Sacita's Story...
This gorgeous girl is Sacita, a 2 year old husky that came to us from our Newark facility in search of a great new home. Sacita was adopted once, but was returned when the other dog and her could not get along. Sacita is a fun-loving and energetic girl that loves to explore. On her first trip to our giant exercise yard, she was mesmerized by the birds and the trees, and was like a little kid in a candy store! She is such a bright and cheery young lady that never stops smiling. Sacita loves people but would prefer a home with no other pets. She just loves getting attention and would love a home with a nice backyard to run and play in, and an active family that will give her plenty of exercise. Sacita is hoping for a fresh start in life....please make her dreams come true! File#22522 6/12/13

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sacita, a Forked River Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Husky dog from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky breeders who help with Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
