Zoey's Story...
Zoey is a Siberian Husky mix. She is very energetic and smart. Her foster took her to a few training classes and she caught on very quickly to the clicker method. She is very sociable and would do well in a household with other dogs her size since she is very playful and a little too rough for smaller dogs. She is very active and would enjoy spending her time with someone that is very active, likes to run, play and keep her busy. She does well on a wireless fence and learned her boundaries very quick. Zoey is a beautiful girl and gets lots of compliments wherever she goes. To apply for Zoey go to augustadogadoptions.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zoey, a Staunton Husky/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Staunton, or seeking a Husky/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Staunton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Staunton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Staunton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Husky/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Staunton paves the way for another one to be saved.
