Alice's Story...
How doth the little crocodile improve his shining tail, And pour the waters of the Nile on every golden scale! How cheerfully he seems to grin, How neatly spreads his claws, And welcomes little fishes in with gently smiling jaws! I want to go through the looking glass and into a wonderland of love with you! Let us not be brash though, for I knew a white rabbit that was too busy rushing about to see the joys of life he was passing by. I just want to live a life of pleasantness and joy; I have ventured enough through a land of uncertainty. As you may know I don’t bow to overbearing queen types and I will let my dominance be known. I have also grown a disdain for cats after my run-in with a certain Cheshire fellow, so I would prefer a home without them. Children, I do feel I would love to spend my days in the Caucus-Race and I wouldn’t mind! I am really good with my crate training I am receiving here, and that is one lesson that I don’t mind paying attention to! Would you consider following me down the rabbit hole, and spend a life adventuring a wonderland with me? 2 years old-60lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; microchip, spay, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alice, a Portland Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Portland, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
