Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Preston. I'm about 1 year old and a red heeler. I love to play with other dogs of all sizes and I don't bother the cats that are strictly indoordoor cats, just wag my nub of a tail when I see them.. I love playing with all sorts of toys, and one of my favorite games is tug o war, so I hope I have a brother or sister to play with. I'm crate trained and I don't make a peep while I'm snuggled in there with my bed and toys. I either take a nap after playing hard, or if the lights go out, I know it's bed time and so well behaved.. I'm a smart boy and learn fast. I'm neutered, heart worm negative and on monthly prevention that also kills fleas. all shots including rabies, already housebroken and crate trained. so until next year, all you have to do is enjoy this boy and realize how smart, fun, funny, and how happy you are to have picked him.. If you're looking for a sweet boy who loves dogs and people, just ask for Preston! My foster mom really loves me, but her health isn't good, and she said I needed someone who could go outside and play with me. take me for walks, watch movies and enjoy the unconditional love I'll give you. Because I can jump that high, for my safety I need a privacy fence. With jumpimg that high, I could clear some hurdles if you are interested in agility, I'm sure willing to try. I get in the doggie pool, and sometimes really enjoy it when another k9 friend is in there but especially if there are toys in there, but other times would rather stay dry to play. I'm being fostered in Huntsville, AL. They say I am one easy keepin boy!! A heeler who likes cats is rare!! To adopt Preston or even just meet him email info@forrescue.net.
