My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We got a call from a woman who works at an assisted living facility.

Rosie is the "facility dog" - someone dumped her there a few years ago and she has been living there ever since, helping seniors.

Unfortunately, someone brought a child in who was hitting Rosie and she nipped, but did no damage, however, the Home said she needed to
leave or they would kill her.

The woman brought her home but cannot keep her.

See her photos and story below and let's help Rosie get a home!

Thanks!

Rosie is a 5 year old beagle/springer spaniel. She knows tons of tricks and is a very affectionate dog. Rosie has lived at an Assisted Living and had an incident with nipping at a child when the child was being rambunctious and bouncing around Rosie and one of her caretakers. This child was the caretakers child. Rosie had never shown any aggression towards any kids. Rosie loves her seniors and most of them have dementia and she is great with them never had any issues. Rosie is so gentle that if someone is in a wheelchair and you tell her they want her to visit she will gently put her paws in their lap and lay her head down on their lap. Rosie has been here with us for 2 years she had doggie friends but the introduction has to be there she does not like a dog to just show up without a formal introduction and I have had at least 5 dogs she has gotten along with. Rosie is at my house because our corporate office said she had to be gone or be put in the pound and we only had 48 hours from the incident. The ideal home would be older a senior would be awesome as she has such a gentle nature with them and an only dog in the home. If there are any more questions please let me know or any resources please let me know.
