Janet Jackson (JJ)'s Story...

What a sweet BABY JJ is! A Good Samaritan found this 14 week-old girl hiding behind a dumpster crying (literally) in a scary, cold, a rainy parking lot. She scooped her up and called BullsEye immediately. How could we say, “No,” to that face?

JJ is now safe and warm in her foster home. She is wonderful with other dogs and with children. She is crate-trained and is almost house-trained.

JJ is current on all of her vaccinations, is HW negative, and will be spayed & microchipped once she is old enough.

Visual breed identification in dogs is an unreliable indicator of actual breed. So, for most of our rescues, we make an educated guess as to the predominant breed or breed mix. Instead, we evaluate each dog individually and get to know each dog personally. We do our best to describe our dogs to you based on their personality and temperament instead of breed label.
Janet Jackson (JJ), Labrador Retriever Mix has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Janet Jackson (JJ), a Atlanta Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
