Chuck (Scooby)'s Story...

Chuck (Scooby) came to BullsEye with his older girlfriend, Sammie & best friend, Sandra D. They were rescued from the chains and dangers of an Atlanta junkyard. Despite the conditions of his rescue, he is a sweet boy who does well with a dominant female dog, but would also thrive as the only dog with a loving caring owner.

Chuck is timid at times. He gets along with certain dogs, but is a little too energetic for cats. He loves big toys in the back the yard, and will love anything you throw for him. Chuck is crate-trained and eager to please his new pet parents.

Chuck is up-to-date on his vaccinations, is HW negative, microchipped, neutered, and current on heartworm & flea & tick preventive.

Visual breed identification in dogs is an unreliable indicator of actual breed. So, for most of our rescues, we make an educated guess as to the predominant breed or breed mix. Instead, we evaluate each dog individually and get to know each dog personally. We do our best to describe our dogs to you based on their personality and temperament instead of breed label.

Chuck (Scooby), American Staffordshire Terrier Mix has been shared from Shelter Exchange.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chuck (Scooby), a Atlanta American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
