My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tuck is a 10 year old male blue merle pending adoption in Atlanta, Georgia.

Unlike many of our rescue dogs, he’s had a GREAT life so far!

Tuck was brought to us after his owner and lifelong best friend passed away. She took excellent care of him, and gave him the kind of love we wish all dogs were lucky enough to have. It’s obvious when you meet him.

Tuck is in great shape at 60lbs, and is still quite active for an older boy.

He enjoys going for walks with his foster siblings twice a day, and accompanying his foster mom for long hikes through the woods.

Tuck is a trustworthy gentleman.

He’s housebroken, non-destructive, and will not require a crate when his new family is away from home.

Although he gets along very well with them, we consider Tuck to be more of a “person’s dog” than a “dog’s dog” after living as an only glued to his owner’s side.

He’ll do just fine with a sibling, but probably won’t be an ideal playmate or energy-burning buddy if that is what you’re hoping for.

He’d rather be YOUR new best friend!
