Dolly-Loo's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Dolly-Loo's Story...
Lovely Dolly-Loo was rescued from a very rural kill shelter on her very last day. She is THE MOST loving huggable girl you would ever want to meet! She is submissive and mild mannered and she has wonderful house manners too. She is housebroken and very calm! Dolly likes playing with other dogs but she is not cat friendly. When we got Dolly-Loo she was heartworm positive but she has been successfully treated and cured and will be ready to go to her new home in two weeks at the end of June! If you would like a wonderful senior girl (around 8 years old and weighs around 60 lbs) we would love to hear from you! Please apply and we can talk!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dolly-Loo, a Portland Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
