Saylor's Story...
Saylor is a senior girl has been with one family all her life. She has good basic command training, good in the house alone, loyal to family members and a great disposition. She may do best with older children at this stage since high activity from young children may get her excited. She requires minimal supervision, walks well on lead, rides well in the car, gets along with other dogs, happy to take baths, etc.

I am looking for that special someone to adopt me and give me a forever home. If you are interested in meeting me or would like more info, please contact my foster mom, Sarasota Area

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Saylor, a Sarasota Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Sarasota, or seeking a Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Sarasota.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sarasota already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sarasota breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sarasota paves the way for another one to be saved.
