Jack's Story...
Meet Jack! Jack is a 5 year old, Male, Boxer and is the sweetest and loving dog you’ll ever meet! Jack is dreaming of his fur-ever family that will provide him with lots of love. He would make a wonderful walking buddy, and he is working hard on learning new commands, but has already mastered sit and down. One of Jack’s favorite things to do is give kisses! Jack gets along well with most other dogs, so he wouldn’t mind sharing his new fur-ever home with a canine buddy. Jack is currently hanging out at the Berea ARF shelter. If you think you could be this sweet boy’s fur-ever family, please contact his consultant, Lynda at 216-990-6967, or email her at happypup@wowway.com.
** The adoption fee helps to cover the general veterinarian check-up, heartworm test, spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, rabies vaccination, worming, flea preventative, and microchip that all dogs adopted through Berea ARF receive prior to going into their new home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jack, a Berea Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Berea, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Berea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berea paves the way for another one to be saved.
