Sheena & Sammy's Story...
Sammy and Sheena are 10-week-old babies looking for their forever homes. Both are still developing into their personalities. They love to play and nap, and don't mind being handled by people. Sammy and Sheena are looking for homes where they can grow into fine adults, homes that will still love them when they've grown out of kittenhood. They would like to celebrate milestones throughout the year with their family, not just their first birthday or two to be surrendered.

Sammy, male, silver tabby; Sheena, female, black.

Sammy and Sheena are current on their vaccinations, parasite-free, and tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. They can be seen anytime at Paramus Petsmart located on Route 17 North, across from the Garden State Plaza. Regular adoption hours are Wed and Fri from 6-9pm and Saturdays from 10:30am-9pm. Please call Chris at 201-906-7813 for any more info or questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sheena & Sammy, a Elmwood Park Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Elmwood Park, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Elmwood Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmwood Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmwood Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmwood Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
