ROOSTER's Story...
Meet Rooster...our little red headed angel! We are so in love with with this handsome man! This charming little guy weighs 34 lb and is about 4 years old. He has a naturally docked tail and beautiful chestnut and white curls. Rooster got caught up in a divorce and they couldn’t decide who got to keep him, so they took him to the shelter. He loves other dogs and just wants to be petted. He has never met a stranger and is warms and affectionate with everyone! Rooster wants a new forever home where he can be king of the house and just be loved on ! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ROOSTER, a Portland Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Portland, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
