Duke's Story...
Duke is a 3 yr old, sweet boy who is good with kids, small dogs and big dogs. He was in bad shape from a severe flea allergy & emaciated when rescued but he is doing fantastic now! Duke is being fostered by a trainer so he is learning some great house manners and basic commands. He is quite the character & has a funny & silly personality! If you would like to adopt, please contact cusenzam@gmail.com for an application.

Please complete an application at our website, http://www.lonestardobermans.org, or email DobeMomx2@yahoo.com for an application. We run entirely on donations. If you can't adopt a dog at this time, why not consider making a financial contribution to provide the food and veterinary care of the dogs we rescue? It allows us to save more dogs. Go to our website http://www.lonestardobermans.org and click on "Donate" in the middle of the page.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Fort Worth Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
