Carson's Story...
Carson Here aka Tigger (that what my foster family calls me on account of my stripes). I am a young Plott Hound Lab mix looking to work my wiggly way into your hearts!! Come on can you resist this beautiful face? I was one of the lucky dogs brought up from South Carolina, and am absolutely loving my life in the north :) The one thing missing is my forever family. I know my foster daddy and mommy would keep me, but if they do then no other dogs will have the same chance I have gotten...that is where you come in, PICK ME!! If you cant tell by now, I am a silly pup who loves to play. I get along well with children, and will even get dressed up if you want. I am a bigger doggie though about 70 pounds, but that means I have more love to give too. I am fully house broken and walk very nice on a leash. When out, I am well behaved and will sit or lay down as needed, but I do like to greet all of the friends I have not met yet. Don’t let me slip through your fingers, adopt me TODAY!!

Please go directly to our website: www.wetnoserescue.org, fill out the application and e-mail it back to us if you are interested in adopting

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carson, a Philadelphia Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Plott Hound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
