Jenna's Story...
Jenna is a 5 y/o choc lab mix whose nickname could be “Miss Manners”. This dog is simply wonderful…rides like a champ (jumps right in the vehicle) walks on a leash like she’d done it all her life, and never jumps on you or acts wild or unruly. She’ll fit in any environment…gets along with other dogs and, well, she’s just a great dog – period. And she’ll make a WONDERFUL companion if she is just given the chance. She will be HW tested and spayed soon!

Please go directly to our website: www.wetnoserescue.org, fill out the application and e-mail it back to us if you are interested in adopting.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenna, a Philadelphia Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
