ASTER's Story...
ASTER is a shepherd/hound mix pup found abandoned and starving in a remote rural area. We estimate her date of birth to be 3/01/13. She has a beautiful medium-length coat and will likely mature to weigh 40-50 lb. She is a sweet baby and plays well with her five siblings. Aster is one of the largest in the litter and has a shepherd-like personality, very attentive and devoted to her human. She is learning "off" and "sit". She is spayed, fully-vaccinated, de-wormed, and current on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. This is a courtesy posting. This dog is not affiliated with P.S. I Love You! Animal Rescue but is fostered by another party. For more information, please contact Janel Miller at dogrefuge@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ASTER, a Brattleboro German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
