This is a COURTESY POST: If you are interested in Ike - please call (916) 680-2750 Ike is extremely loveable. He loves to cuddle and be with people. He is friendly and enjoys getting attention and being petted. He has a very nice temperment and is very sweet boy who was rescued in March 2013 from a neglectfull environment. Ike gets along very well with other dogs. And has been around young children. Unsure about how he does with cats. Ike is potty trained. He is loyal, a great companion and is seeking his forever home.
I am a very small, independent dog rescue with limited space. . . I have been doing rescue for 15 years. In the past, I have pulled dogs from our local shelter that had failed temperment, or were out of time and at risk to be euthanized. However, with the current economy, I've been running full with dogs which are abandoned and/or owner surrenders. I started doing rescue by fostering two sibling pups from our local shelter, who'd run out of time...been doing it ever since. I have only had one foster home in the past, however, for the past several years, I am solo, which severly limits me on the number of dogs I'm able to take in to rescue and care for.
