Willie is a very sweet little guy. He loves people and he gets along well with other dogs. He is also fine around cats. He was rescued from Yuma Humane Society. When he came to us, his jaw was broken in 2 places. We took him to Dr. Visser at Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists as his injuries were pretty severe. We were told that it was a blunt force trauma and poor little Willie had been like this for a while. One of the breaks had already healed so his jaw is still a bit out of alignment, but he is now totally fine and pain free. Dr. Visser removed some teeth as the roots were damaged by the break and the other break was repaired. Other teeth had to be ground down so that they didnât hit the roof of his mouth. Willie has since gotten a clean bill of health on his jaw and he is now ready for his new forever home. He has a very nice temperament and he knows how to use a doggie door. He would make a wonderful pet for any home or family! For more information or to submit an application, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Rescue a forever friend!
About our adoption process: For more information or to request an adoption application (required), please email the dog's foster listed above (no phone calls, please). There is no commitment by submitting the application - it just helps us determine if the pet you are interested in will be a good match for you. Next is a meet and greet at one of our adoption events - typically held on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Chandler, AZ (Ray Rd & I-10). Not every pet is at every event so please contact us first to find out when and where you can meet the pet you are interested in. If there are other dogs in your household, we suggest bringing them to ensure everyone gets along. The standard adoption fee for dogs and puppies is $140 (cash or check) which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations, microchip and collar/tags.
