Katie's Story...
Hi my name is Katie. I am a female German Shepherd approximately 2 1/2 mths old. I was rescued from a High kill shelter very sick with pneumonia. HNH has taken great care of me and I am now 100% ready for a furever home. I love to play with other dogs, I am super sweet and love to give kisses. I would love to have an active family with a yard and another 4 legged play mate. I currently weigh 18lbs. Katie is a sweetheart she will melt your heart. She is current on vaccines/micro-chipped and will be spayed prior to adoption. For an application visit our website: www.hopenheroes.com or email Lorna@hopenheroes.com. Adoption/Donation fee and home inspection required. IF YOU RENT we require a written letter from your landlord stating that you are allowed a large breed dog. She is currently being fostered in Reseda, CA.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Katie, a Torrance German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Torrance, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Torrance.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Torrance already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Torrance breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Torrance paves the way for another one to be saved.
