Urban's Story Is A Sad Tale Of Our Times

Urban is a 5 year old neutered male Boxer who was sadly surrendered to our Rescue program because of financial problems. He is a beautiful boy who was purchased as a young puppy and has only lived in one home. He now finds himself longing to share his affection with another family who will love him.

Urban has wonderful house manners and can safely be left loose while home alone. He enjoys lying on the couch and sleeping in bed with his family. He is trained to ring a bell on the door when he wants to go outside. He loves to be petted and especially likes his wiggle-butt scratched. Although he has never lived with other dogs he is friendly with most dogs, but he is not good with cats.

Urban has been living happily in a foster home in the big city and is doing great. He has become a New York City dog and, although it took him awhile to adapt, he seems to have made himself at home. Urban is quite the attention magnet when out on his walks. People can’t help but stop and tell his foster parents how cute he is....time and time again.

Urban is very well mannered on leash and is very social when meeting other people and dogs. He does very good in the house when left alone and loves to sleep in the bed. Urban is a great dog who deserves a great home! Urban would do well living in the city or a country setting. His greatest requirement is to find someone to love him and return his devotion.
