My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there,
My name is Wilson and I would like to tell you a few things about my wonderful self. First of all, I'm terribly cute. I have the most enchanting fawn spots on my ears and a great big one just above my right eye. Among my other sterling qualities I can name these. I am housebroken and learned the dog door in about five minutes in my foster home. Maybe there was one of those in my past. I can't say. I have quickly learned that my foster brothers and sisters do not want to play with me after breakfast. We all must go back to bed and snuggle with mom. I am not a bolter or a runner or a digger. I do have one special trick and that is I can open doors if they have those sideways handles. My foster family doesn't have those so I've not been able to show off this skill. I am crate trained and know some hand signals and will come when called with a hand signal. When I was in a shelter, I was allowed to roam around loose with the cats and I really didn't pay much attention to them. They are OK, I guess, but they don't like to box. Of course I am fully vetted and on heartworm prevention. I must confess to one tiny bad habit. I am very curious and also very food motivated so I kinda like to check out the tops of counters and any other place there might be a snack. My foster mom says I'm very smart and a quick learner and considering I'm just a year old, she says I'm a pretty good boy. So if you are looking for an energetic, young, handsome boxer boy to round out your family, ask for me, Wilson.

PS: Although I do respond to very loud noises, I am pretty much deaf. Two of my foster brothers are also deaf but we are so smart and well behaved that no one ever guesses. We don't think it is a handicap. You shouldn't either :-))
