TINK's Story...
Hi, my name is "Tink", short for Tinker Bell. I am a three year old, blonde, female Applehead Chihuahua. I boarded The Ark No Kill Shelter because my previous guardian had to move where no pets are allowed. I have been to Community Animal Hospital, a full service veterinary hospital, for comprehensive vetting: Veterinarian examined, Veterinarian vaccinated, spayed, tested negative for heart worms, de-wormed and am on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. I am housebroken and puppy pad trained, get along with other dogs, and bigger children. Come visit me during ADOPTER FRIENDLY HOURS: Tuesday - Saturday, 1 pm - 5 pm. When you adopt me we receive a PETCO "Think Adoption First" coupon book loaded with great deals to help us get started. For more information call 423/472-2744 or come by 240 Oak St NW. Hope to see you soon!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TINK, a Cleveland Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
