Sam's Story...
Arf arf! I'm Sam! I'm a handsome little fella whose estimated birthdate is March 9, 2013! My sisters, Bonnie and Ginger, and I flew up to Happily Ever After in June, 2013, all the way from a Savannah, GA Animal Control Shelter! We like being here because it's not as hot as it is down south, but also because everyone keeps on telling us that we're going to find our forever homes really soon! My sisters and I are laid back little pups that looove to be snuggled! I win the gold medal in the family for being the most playful! Please stop by HEA's Green Bay Adoption Center to play with us soon! You can visit weeknights from 6-8 pm, and weekends from 11 am-4 pm! Hugs, Sam

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sam, a Green Bay Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
