Can I cuddle with you?
My name is Tess and I’m a 2-3 year old black Great Dane. I was found on the side of the road by a very nice man. I stayed right where I was left for a few days because I thought my owners were coming right back…they didn’t. This nice man kept for me awhile because he really thought my family would come looking for me too. He finally decided they were not coming for me either and surrendered me to the Forever Friends Great Dane Rescue.
I have adjusted well to foster care and my foster mom says I’m so regal and beautiful. No one has figured out why I was dumped…including me! I know how to sit, stay, and down. I also know what that word “no” means but I don’t want to hear it! I do get excited so I’m working on “leave it” and “easy.” I know what those words mean but I’m young so sometimes my excitement takes over! I’ve met some dogs while in foster care and I’m good with most of them. My foster family doesn’t think I had much socialization to animals so I need to be introduced slowly. I do play rough so my playmates have to be ok with that! Maybe I’m a little bossy!! I live with a cat right now and I like him! I go right up and sniff kitty but I don’t chase him! Overall, I would just benefit from some training so that I know what you want me to do…I sure do love to please! I’m a big cuddler and love to be pet…I wish someone would do that all day long!!
I would really like a second chance since I have no idea why my family left me on the side of the road all alone. I want to have a new family to call my own and love them as much as they love me! Please adopt me today!
