Ariel's Story...
Ariel is an adorable pit bull mix. Her mother was a pit bull and the father was a large breed (possibly Great Dane or Mastiff.) On 6/12/13 she is 5 months old and weights 32 lbs. She was rescued from animal control at 1 day old and was bottle fed by our fosters. She is so sweet and playful and would be great for anyone looking for a large breed puppy.

Although Ariel is currently located at St. Tammany, transport to New England can easily be arranged through Animal Rescue Front.
If you are interested in taking me into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://www.animalrescuefront.org/Adoption-Form.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ariel, a Groton Great Dane/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Groton, or seeking a Great Dane/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Great Dane/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
