Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please meet Hoover, a beautiful 4-5 yr old American Eskimo who was rescued from an animal shelter in California. He has such soulful eyes that will melt your heart when you look into them. This gorgeous guy is quite the snuggle bug. He loves to sit next to his foster mom or dad on the couch while watching TV or relaxing. Hoover sleeps at the end of the bed all curled up in a fluff ball. He is incredibly affectionate and lovable with all people he meets no matter age. This very cool dog has great manners. Hoover will wait to jump on the couch or bed until he is invited. Then lookout! You have just entered into one of Hoover's snuggle-fests. And once you are there, you don't want to leave. His foster parents cannot believe how calm Hoover is. He does not get excited easily, and they have not heard him bark once yet. He lives with 3 other dogs and he gets along with them all, which is no easy feat. He does not play much with them, preferring to be with his foster parents. There are also 2 cats in his foster home but he chooses to ignore them. Hoover prefers belly rubs, kisses, and snuggling over dog toys. He absolutely LOVES his fenced in yard! He will just saunter around sniffing and laying in the grass. This is one really relaxed dog. He does like to go for walks as long as it is not too hot for him. He will sometime pull on the leash if he sees a squirrel. He also loves car rides. Hoover has had only 1 accident since being with his foster family. Not only is he beautiful, but also super bright and is picking up on housebreaking very quickly. He is not crated when his foster family leaves the house because he is not destructive in any way. His foster parents have not seen any negative behavior in Hoover. He is not food aggressive, but boy he loves food and treats!!. Because he is such a calm dog he will take the treats very gently from your hand and he does not scarf down his food. Hoover was not just rescued, but saved. This wonderful dog has such a loving, gentle spirit. He deserves a forever home that will love him unconditionally. His forever family will be rewarded a hundred fold with his love, snuggles, and affection. This guy deserves all the wonderful things in life; safety, happiness, love, affection and more. Are you willing to be that family? What a great rags to riches story for Hoover, the incredible American Love Dog!
