Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Laney is a 12 week old female calico/tiger kitten. She was the only kitten found from her litter, which is sad but sometimes happens. She is a sweet girl, very playful, immediately got along with the other residents, and showed great interest in the tickle feather! She is a player to be sure! I am also sure that she will be happy to have other kittens to play with here. They have their own toy box, they take them out, but just like my own kids, never put them back! There's tower scratching posts and she has already discovered that and has climbed to the top! WTG on her first hour here!! She has also discovered the stool next to me and has become a companion. So, she gets along well with people and wants to be near them.
She has been completely vetted, tested, spayed, rabies and distemper and was treated for any possible fleas and ear mites. She was also wormed. So, in a month she will need a 2nd distemper shot and then she's good for 364 days.
She's a beautiful kitten and would make a great addition to any family!
You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing catadoptionteam@aol.com. All of the cats and kittens are placed with the Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to any placement. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours. We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only a high end cat food. We are at the Providence Petco, located at 585 N. Main Street, Providence, RI every Sunday from 10 am to 3 pm and you are welcome to come by and see all the cats and kittens that are looking for new 'Forever Homes'. Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten on adoption day as each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their placed. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be placed spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any placement of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO!
